List of Programs Virtualized by Enigma

Hi there:

Does anyone out there have an although short list of example programs successfully made portable with using Enigma, maybe including Sandboxie.com sandbox program? I myself couldn't make a single program run as portable yet by using Enigma.

By the way, see this online virus report from jotti.org related to Enigma executable "enigmavbconsole":

A bit worrisome.

Thanks.

Hi MCHAL

If would be better, if you post a link here on the program that you tried to make a portable.
We could analyze it and tell you the correct way to do a virtualization.

Three of these antiviruses uses the single antivirus database/engine for detection - BitDefender, GData and FSecure. You can see that name of detection is same.
There is the thread we continue updating.. Hope in Monday the detection will be fixed.

Just a small note also.

Enigma Virtual Box is mainly used not for making a program as portable (it is possible, but it is not a main idea of EVB).

Enigma Virtual Box allows to virtualize the files that application uses. I.e. virtualize files and registry in memory.

This conception is different than a numerous portable makers you can find in the internet. All portable makers extract all the application files on the disk while first run, but EVB emulates everything in memory. So I agree, that some applications you would like to make as portable, may be incompatible with EVB.
