AppCrash test.exe Has Stopped Working

I have an application that gives this error and I have greatly narrowed down what is causing the error but I could use some assistance.

1. The program works fine on all computers that I have tested except this one computer. It is only giving this error on a computer/server running Server 2012 R2. I'm not sure if it would give this message on all computers running this OS. But, the program runs fine on many other computers that I have tested.

2. It ONLY gives this error when I check the box to "Enable Registry Virtualization" If I uncheck the box (and register the activeX controls manually at the Admin command prompt) then the program will run without a problem. So, the crashing has something to do with checking this box.

3. I'm running Enigma version 7.7, build 20160914

4. The computer is running ESET antivirus but I don't think that should matter because it works find if I don't check the box to enable registry virtualization. That is what is triggering this error but I can't figure out why or what to do to resolve the problem.
