Hello All,

I'm very pleased to be a new Enigma user. It looks like a great tool.

I have encountered the error above when attempting to protect a file. Upon going to Local\Temp, the suspect file cannot be found.
Does anyone know if this a genuine virus I have on my computer, or some sort of error in Enigma?

Eitherway, any advice on how to resolve the problem would be appreciated.

Update: just in case anyone else gets a similar error message in the future, I thought I would share my solution.

I simply installed MalwareBytes, ran a full scan and removed quarantined items, and did the same with Windows Defender.

Enigma worked fine after that.

The also possible solution - add TEMP folder to the exceptions to Windows Defender and then protect the file.

Just once again - there is no any kind of virus inside Enigma Protector, nor in any temporary files that it creates.
All these detections come from antivirus mistake, due to error in their analisys engines.
