I have an exe file which has 3 files for its config and settings,
Example:
config.xml
setting.cfg
config.txt
instead of using virtual box, I prefer to use a package, so I made a package with these 3 files and introduced it to my exe file via packaging feature.
but after protection, the protected exe can not read those config files from the package and it is useless.
where is the problem?
Protected File can not detect package file
Re: Protected File can not detect package file
I have found the problem, For using packaging options I MUST leave "Files" checked in virtual box part
I was unchecking "Files" because I was thinking if Packaging is on there is no need to file virtualization...

Re: Protected File can not detect package file
Hi Majid, yes, there is a little incompatiblity with that, glad that you've found a solution - it's correct! We will try to fix it to match your initial thoughts. Thanks!
Re: Protected File can not detect package file
Thanks, Yes If protected exe can read files from a package without needing to virtualize the system it would be perfect.
I think packaging should work in this way
