[Feature request] Installation monitor please?

Post by asembler »

It would be great if Enigma VB could monitor installation of an application so it would collect all needed files and registry values and make app portable/virtual.It's curently too hard or impossible to do everything manual.
Something like Cameyo does(Unfortunately it leaves traces on computer...creates VSO value in registry so it's not completely virtual) could be good or even better ThinApp from VMWare which is perfect but toooo pricey

Hi asembler

I think it will be done in future :D But now you can use some other tools for monitoring applications and their made changes :) I believe there are some freewares for this purpose ;)

Thank you, those are good news :)
Can you please recommend one of those freebies? I was using a secret app for that purpose.

Hi asembler, yes, such feature will be going soon.

Just for now, you can use RegMon to view registry access and FileMon to view files used by application. You can find them in the google!
