Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Simx,
the enigma say at the end that you have same name file opened so it cannot create the file.
It can be even you're antivirus , stop the active scanner.

Hi simx,

Yes, agree, firstly look at the processes list and make sure the output file is not already run. If the output file is staying in memory, Enigma can't overwrite it. This process should be terminated firstly.

Then, make sure the antivirus is not stopping the protection. Tell me, what antivirus you have on the PC?

Thanks guys,

I'm going to try it now, I have not been running the application, but think we may be on to something about the AV.

I currently use ESET Smart Security.

OK disabled my real-time AV scanner, and worked perfectly!!!

Thank you so much guys, Enigma is a great!

Only issue now is that when I have my ESET running, it will not let me run the freshly protected application, any ideas on this new issue lol

Hello again Simx,
you can add the file under exclusion list on ESET .
Check this link.

scorillo7, you are surely right, but this solves problems on a simx's PC only. ESET does not allow to run protected file because false detect a virus inside it.
People who will use this protected file together with ESET will have same problem.

This is false detection and it should be solved.

We have solved false detections of the protected files with the ESET a month ago, I expected no more false detections will come from them...

simx, there are instructions:
1. Hope you are using legal version of enigma protector :) otherwise ESET will surely generate false detections
2. Hope you also use latest update of ESET antivirus databases
3. If you passed #1 and #2, but false detection still appear, write us back at support@enigmaprotector.com, let us know your license number and send us protected file that is false detected. We will coordinate with ESET to solve this problem quickly.
