Enigma Protector

Hi All

I am having several issues when attempting to box my OCX. After alot of analysis I have narrowed down my issues to 2.

1) The protected file produces a black image for my icon when placed in a VB toolbox as a component

2) The protected version of the ocx behaves well when Virtual Box - Files option is Not checked, however if I Check it the issue of Registering/Unregistering the ActiveX packed version fails. Now what is odd I remove all the files from the virtual folder and the issue persists, So I'm assuming some other virtualisation features are active beyond the files submitted or not that is causing the issue if not a bug.

Please investigate for me please!

Hi Mark, as per your issues:
1. Check the option Protection Features - Resource Protection, make sure that ICON resources are checked there
2. Please confirm that you protect the exe file and put acitvex that it uses to Virtual Box?
If so, I also recommend you to check if Virtual Box - Registry virtualization is enabled. It is required for correct registration of ActiveX components.
