Enabling file compression fails to start exe

Hello,
I created a boxed installation for Ultimaker Cura 5.10.0. Using default settings all went file, I got a 1.2GB file and it works as expected. But when I enable the file compression option, I get a 450MB exe which fails to start because of an error loading python312.dll (dialog reports network error). Exe is created in windows 10 and fails to start on a Windows 11 pc; the boxed exe works fine in the pc used to build.
Only compression changed, could you help me?
thanks,
Yuri

Hi Yuri, can you please attach here your .evb project file?
If file works well on one system and does not work on another, it could be an issue of misconfiguration.

Just curious, why did you change the default options at Options panel?
I think that you need to enable all of them in order to provide maximum compatibility of EVB with packed application.

Hi,
I only enabled 'Compress files' in 'File options' to get a 450MB file instead of 1.2GB. There is only another option 'Delete extracted on exit' but sounds not related to this issue.
thanks,
Yuri

No, I mean these options, you have to enable all of them:

Enabling all these options made file compression to work fine. I didn't enable them because they are disabled in default project, and boxed app was working.
thanks for help,
Yuri

No, these options are enabled in default project, because they provide maximum compatibility.
Good that it works for you finally!
