WORKING WITH LAN

HI,
I AM USING THE ENIGMA PROTECTOR AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH IT.
NORMALLY, I INSTALL MY APLLICATION IN A STAND ALONE COMPUTER AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT.
BUT, WHEN I PUT MY APP ON A SERVER AND PROTECT IT, IT ASKS ME TO ENTER A KEY ON THE SERVER
BUT ALSO IN EACH PC CONECTED.
MY QUESTION IS: IS IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I SPECIFY A HD CHECK OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG ?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
JEAN

Hi Jean,
i'm also a Enigma user and until Vladimir answer your question i want(if you accept) to give an answer to your "problem".
1.If you have a client(app which connect to the server solution)-server software...
If you have a standalone aplication on computer(client) which connect to a server (let's say in the same network) and protect each app with Enigma (the server solution and client[(app which connect to the server solution)] solution) it is normal to put for each a license, because server run on the another hardware and each client(app which connect to the server solution) on the other hardware, resulting for each computer diferend hardware ID's.
2.The same problem is available for shortcut-ing app in another computer from a lan because app run in another computer, theoretical.
Enigma do not have a networking license option for a software. The only reference to network is on the load restriction see Check-up->Disk Drive section, but this is not going to help on your problem.
Do you want one single license for entire app to be generated by you for one app/client(person or firm)-case 1 or allowing network run on the same license option- case 2 ?
Regarding on your strict question:
"MY QUESTION IS: IS IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I SPECIFY A HD CHECK OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG ?"
No, Hd check is not guilty for that because if is not that will be another check when Enigma format the Hardware ID.
One solution is to clear every check on REGISTRATION FEATURES->HARDWARE LOCK SECTION and generate a license based only on user name, but this let the app free on porting from one computer to another if a customer release their username and key on the net or on the another customer.
Let's wait until Vladimir answer(read my signature).
If i do not undestand well, please explain for Vladimir arhitecture of your app.

Hi Jean, yes, scorillo7 is absolutely right, I agree.
There is no networking license features. Especially, hardware locked license could not be used remotely. If the remote protected file is run through network, then hardware lock feature will get the configuration of the local PC, on which the application is run, but not the server PC where it is located.
Anyway, there is a chance to get it worked. You may use licensing feature, but do not lock the registration keys to particular PC. Also, the registration key should be saved not to the registry, but to the file system, default folder. This way, protected application that will be run remotely will check the registration key located in the file of server PC but not of the local user PC, and registration will work correctly.
Hope I did not mistake anywhere...
