VM Marker Not Working on VB6

Hi Enigma

Sorry for my bad english. I using Enigma version 3.130, VB6, Windows 7 64 Bit. When I Protecting project that using tag VM Marker then the protected files cannot processing, and not responding, I attach the project file, thanks for helping me.

Hi Yunia,

I would confirm that the latest version of EP really does not work with the VB markers.

We are currently improving the logic how markers are working, and this problem will be fixed in the next version update.

By the way, I recommend you to make a look at another solution how to use markers in VB applications. This solution is really even better than using the markers. The marker covers only the part of the function code, the below method allows to cover the entire function.

So, you may create a map file for your application and then use it in the Virtual Machine - Functions Selecting to select the functions you would like to virtualize/protect. This is a perfect way.
