Protected Application incredibly slow

Hi guys,

I tried many software protection applications and software virtualizations. The Enigma Protector is definately by far the best and most mature application in that category.

I made a special XBMC (xbmc.org) package that I would like to deliver as a protected, single exe file to friends. It works ok, however, it is very very slow. Every click takes ages and it is really a pain to use it. I do not know what it causes. I tried several things, e.g. compression on/off and other settings. Nothing changes.

You are my last hope.

That's difficult to say what would cause such problem...

Do you use Virtual Box feature? Are there many files?

I also may recommend the following:
1. Disable all Miscellaneous - Plugins
2. Disable all Checkup options
3. Disable Protection Features - Import Protection and Inline Patching protection.
Try it to see if the problem will be solved.

Also, you may send us all your non protected files for test at support@enigmaprotector.com, we will try to investigate it and let you know where could be a problem.

Yes, I use the Virtual Box feature. In fact, I useed the packaging feature as well.
The total number of files is approx. 7.000.
The total size after compression etc. is 70MB for the main .exe and another 70MB for the package.
The unprotected source folder is ~200MB. Is it too much? Too many files?

I have disabled all the things you mentioned. No change whatsoever.
