Enigma 2.xx cracked?

Post by Willem »

Hello Enigma,

yesterday I found a Enigma cracking tutorial on google. At first I thought this can not be up-to-date but as I took a closer look it affects all Enigma 2.xx versions according to the description.
However I only wanted to advise you of this if you don't allready know about it to keep Enigma save.
Is the tutorial really as effective as the author affirms? If it's true do you allready have plans on how to fix the vulnerabilitys in the next versions?

I hope I'm allowed to post the link to it here. If not just delete it please.
Link to tutorial:
del

Thanks in advance,
Willem

Hi Willem, yes, thanks for the information, we already know about this tutorial. Really, it is the first tool that appeared for Enigma Protector since last years.

It is not critical issue, and it does not allow to fully bypass Enigma Protector. It just shows how some virtual code parts could be de-virtualized and analyzed.

There are such protection in Enigma that can't be cracked at all. For example, Reg_Crypt markers feature like Registration Features - Common - Encrypt with Encryption Constant.

Now we are working on this issue, it is very easy to solve, and soon our customers will get a solution!

We are just trying to go one step ahead the cracking!

Enigma Protector is being developed very intensive, so different unpacking tools and tutorials become useless very soon!
